Hello, I’m Kathryn, the proud owner of Flowers in Focus!
Before I even left school, my heart has been in floristry. I began my journey at Flowers in Focus in 2008, then started at Lackham College the same year to complete my Level 2 and then continued to Bath College in 2009, completing my Level 3 in Floristry. After working at the shop for so long, I finally bought it in 2022, something that felt like a very natural next step. Having spent so many years growing with the business, it’s incredibly special to now be my own!
With over 15 years of experience and a deep love for creating beautiful arrangements, I’ve dedicated my life to bringing joy into special moments through flowers. Floristry isn’t just what I do, it’s all I know really...

My journey with Flowers in Focus began in 2007 when I joined the team for a fortnight of work experience while I was still at school. I instantly fell in love with the world of floristry and went on to study for my Level 2 and Level 3 qualifications at Lackham College. In 2011, I officially joined the Flowers in Focus team, and 15 years later, I’m still here doing a job I genuinely love.
Over the years, Flowers in Focus has seen me buy my first home, become a mum to two wonderful daughters, and most recently get married, but it has always felt like home. One of my favourite parts of the job is designing our window displays and bringing creative ideas to life. I love that working here allows me to be part of people’s happiest celebrations, while also offering comfort, care and support during some of their most difficult times. That’s what makes floristry so special to me.
